The Danish international Martin Braithwaite made an astonishing revelation of not washing his debut jersey after the Catalan giant’s biggest player Lionel Messi hugged him after his assist that gave Messi his fourth goal for the night on their clash with Eiber which ended 5-0. Braithwaite actually turned around the controversies that came along with his signing for Barcelona giving two assist on the night in the second half as a substitute.
There were controversies attached to his signing because the Barcelona fans saw his emergency purchase from Leganes to be an underwhelming acquisition and also not fit to fit in the shoes of Ousmane Dembele who is on injury.
But the Danish international made an immediate impact as a substitute, having assisted Messi’s fourth goal on the night and also getting involved in Arthur Melo’s goal which rounded the scoreline to 5-0.
Braithwaite was also asked reporters what Messi told him when he hugged him and he said Messi Congratulated him.
