Mali Music Is Back To Gospel. Let Go……..

Mali Music is an American recording artist, song-writer, producer and an instrumentalist who was born on January 12, 1988. His birth name is Kortney Jamaal Pollard, born in Phoenix, Arizona but is originated from Savannah,Georgia U.S. Mali Music as popularly called started his music carrier from the year 2007 and in 2008 and 2009,  he released his first and second albums titled “The coming” and “The Second coming” respectively under Bystorm records where he did gospel songs. He was the first inspirational artist to be part of BET’s acclaimed series “Music Matters”.He was then signed to RCA records in 2013 where he released his first single “Beautiful” in anticipation of his first major album which was released on June 17, 2014 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Urban Album.

In 2017, he was signed to Konvict Music which is spearheaded Akon and there  he pledged new allegiance to a new god, which made him release an album titled, “The transition of Mali”. The album basically talked about he moving from the Gospel music scene to the Worldly Music scene with the excuse of him and  the gospel music not being loved the church folks etc.

He came out with a single titled “Still” in 2019 in which God was telling him ” When you rise and fall, i’ll always be in love with you”. And Glory be to God, whose unfailing love chases us down and fight till we are found, always leaving the 99 and going after the 1 lost sheep has gone after him since his transition in 2017 and has brought him back unto himself in 2020.

He has released a new single on his arrival back into the sheepfold this year titled “Let Go” in which he said ” Men Yeah Bout to end it, man yeah bout the business. Let it go Let it go, man yeah got me addicted”. He also said, trap music got him masked up. Apostle Paul got me seeing clear.
