The Information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has given some reasons why there won’t be a lock down in Ghana.
Speaking to Kwame Sefa Kayi on Kokrooko, the Information minister gave some good reasons why the government has not implemented a lock down yet.
Since the coronavirus was recorded in Ghana, many people have called for a lock down due to the fear of the disease spreading rapidly.
But from the look of things, their request may be denied as the government are taking a lot of things into consideration before implementing the ban.
According to the minister, having a lock down without further action might cause more harm than good taking into consideration our systems.
In the interview he said, in some countries after going on a lock down, riots happened due to lack of food and Jordan for instance lifted their ban just after 4 days due to this same reason.
