Ghanaian rapper Edem has reacted to artist manager George Briton’s comments of the music industry collapsing if not for the consistency of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
According to the former manager of Keche music group, the music industry would have been dead now if not for the creativity and consistency of these popular artists, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
Edem while reacting to it expressed his disappointment in the artist manager for saying that. According to Edem, the music industry thrives on money and not talent.
He posted on his Facebook page quizzing why George Briton will make such an absurd comment when he knows very well that there are a lot of young talents who will hold the entertainment industry without these people.
He wrote “George M. Britton some times u talk and I wonder if you really analyze before going on Pundit show..How can u say if three artiste leave an industry it would collapse…First of all creative industry thrive on money not talent..That’s why people without talent can blow with money..U claim y’all made 500k out of a signed contract but we no see nothing…..when the biggest financier left the business where most of the names u mentioned were signed it didn’t collapse..There are variables in showbiz.. 4syte can make another big name Charterhouse can give another act a platform.
