In the course of the week news broke about the dismissal of renowned presenter and actress, Naa Ashokor from Multimedia.

After Naa Ashokor broke the news herself, a lot of speculations and rumors has come out regarding the reason for her dismissal.
Mark Okraku Mantey who happens to be with Multimedia as the Programs Manager of Hitz Fm has come out to give the possible reason for her dismissal.
According to him, the decision was an HR decision though as mangers they might have a role in that. However he said the decision might be made based on the output of the presenter in regards to the money she brings from her shows.
He further went ahead to say it was not true they are laying of workers because of COVID-19 and denied laying off 100 employees.
